Introducing Block Patterns

Reading Luke 2:1-7

Centuries before Mary and Joseph, it was prophesied through the prophet Micah that out of Bethlehem should come the One Who was to be the Ruler of Israel. Micah 5:2. When it came time for this word to be fulfilled God did not supernaturally transport this husband and wife to Bethlehem, but rather through natural circumstances Mary and Joseph made the arduous journey from Nazareth to Bethlehem; traveling over seventy miles in obedience to civil law. They obeyed the law of the land regardless of the inconveniences it entailed. They fulfilled their part of the prophesy, trusting God to do the rest.

Our Lord desires the same natural response of obedience from each of us. We must not wait for trumpets to sound and angels song before we minister in His Name. To the rebellious or self-serving obedience is a burden. To the Christian it should be an act of love and joy. We can be confident that as we live lives of obedience to the laws of the land and to the high calling to which we are called, God will fulfill His Word in our lives for the honor and glory of HIS Name. It is not what we do for the sake of mankind, but rather what we allow Him to do through us that brings everlasting fruit and blessings beyond measure.

Rx: Meditate on these words of Jesus: “Whoever has My commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves Me.” Jn 14:21

He who loves Me will be loved by my Father and I too, will love him and show myself to him.” Jn 14:21

Key notes

  • Simplify content creation and ensure design consistency.
  • Streamlines the design process and saves time.
  • Pre-arranged collections of blocks.

Moreover, the WordPress community and theme developers are actively contributing to a growing library of block patterns, making it easier for users to find a pattern that suits their needs. Whether you’re building a landing page, a photo gallery, or a complex layout, there’s likely a block pattern ready to use.

This democratizes design for non-technical users while offering developers a way to extend WordPress functionality and provide more options to their clients.
